WW2 Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers Theatre Made Cast Badge - SD&A Co 1941

A scarce theatre made cast in two parts with wire attachments and original slider maker marked S.D.A. & Co. 41 (the latter presumably for 1941, as some Indian firms used the last two digits of the year when marking their sliders). A very solidly made example, silver plated star with mounted gilt brass device and a wee jimmy to the centre in silver plate. Pre 1936 pattern with the long scrolls. Some bending to loops but functional. A worn example but still with shap detail and a real cracker.

A yellow gilt brass metal die struck cap badge with two flat connector style loops to the reverse. Circa 5cms tall. Not as well struck as it could have been and silver solder to lugs (possibly contemporary replacements as this is usually found with flat hexagonal lugs). RD no 875 to front on either side of the NZ. Worn with correspondingly small collar badges.
