WW2 Home Front - Early Observer Corps White Metal Cap Badge
Early pattern die struck white metal cap badge with three folded flat original blades to the reverse and brass strengthening bar to the reverse of raised arm. the figure of an Elizabethan Coast Watcher above the curled title scroll, " Observer Corps." The Corps was made " Royal " in 1941. In very good condition.

Bulletin no.269 August 2017 by Dennis Darmanian (photo on p18) he claims this as an alternate badge as worn by the Malta Home Guard.
