A large impressive badge, circa 7.7cms by 7.7cms, with four original screw-posts and all four original retaining nuts. In un-issued condition. The marks on the kukris are reflection, it is in near mint condition. An early title, predating the granting of the title "Royal" in 1921. Worn from circa 1894. Circa 15mm tall and 28mm wide. Would originally have been blackened, but this appears to have been cleaned back to the brass. Two original loops to the reverse. In good worn condition.

A good scarce die-cast locally made silvered example. Circlet “GURKHA RIFLES”, to the voided centre a strung bugle with kukri, Princess Mary’s Cypher and “10” between the strings. Stout pin to reverse. Silver plate in very good condition, not worn through to the base metal.

This pattern worn circa 1953 until 1960, so worn for only a brief period of time.
