Good scarce die-stamped blackened brass Springbok Antelope on title scrolls. Circa 5.1cms tall, two original loops to the reverse. This example in bronze. As worn from 1932 until 1943. Some traces of white putty to reverse around the loops.

7th King 's African Rifles ( KAR ) Brass Cap Badge - Zanzibar
Cast brass badge with two original lugs to the reverse. The In very good condition. Circa 4.8cm tall. Scarce.
The 7th KAR was formed in Zanzibar in 1917 with men from the Zanzibar Armed Constabulary and the Mafia Constabulary. Post WW1, it was reduced to a company and then merged with the 6th KAR.

South African - Victoria Rifles Officer's White Metal Waist Belt Clasp (WBC)
A rare early WBC from this unit which was amalgamated in 1890 to form the Kimberley Rifles. No benchmarks, but a perfect fit. Marked with the military outfitters details for Hobson & Sons, Lexington Street, London W. Nickel plated. Worn from 1887 - 1890 only. Some light service wear otherwise in very good condition and rare.

WW2 Rhodesia 17th Field Battery (1/6 Field Regiment South African Artillery (SAA))
A rare brass cap badge as worn by 3/17th Battery of the Rhodesian Field Artillery as part of the 6th South African Armoured Division in the Italian campaign, 1943 - 1945. A bird crossing a river with the number 17 below. Two original flat connector style loops to the reverse, bent over for comfort when worn in the cap. Zululand Mounted Rifles Slouch Hat Cap Badge, circa 1903 - 1913
A stunning Zululand Mounted Rifles (ZMR) slouch hat cap badge, worn only c. 1904 -1913. Die cast, with three original lugs to the reverse. Circa 4.7cms tall and 5cms wide. Rhino above motto scroll is "Wa Tshe Tsha" and the scroll below this carries the words Zululand Mounted Rifles. In superb condition with no damage to horn or tail, etc. Rare.
