Indian Amy - 44th Merwara Infantry Officer's Oxidised Silver Headdress Cap Badge
A scarce die struck unmarked oxidised silver officer's headdress cap badge with original pagri slider. Circa 4cms tall. Worn circa 1903-1921. In very good condition. Simply gorgeous.
The regiment formed part of the 12th Indian Division and served in Mesopotamia. It had been raised in 1822 and was disbanded in 1921.
