A die struck gilding metal brass cap badge, good gilding metal colour with slight loss of detail to the small centre shield otherwise in good condition with two original dark toned loops (slightly nipped but functional). As worn from 1898 - 1910, then worn with a slider from circa 1910 - 1915. Scarce.

A bright looking example, mainly because it has been lacquered which has kept it looking good. Some wear to the two original dark toned loops, which have been squeezed but still functional. Gilt and enamel officer's cap badge with white metal overlay of crown and lion, with two original long loops to the reverse. Dulled from service wear, enamel undamaged, slight touch of greening to base of crown, otherwise in good condition.
