Northumberland Fusiliers Two Piece Other Ranks Brass Shoulder Title

A two part title with original fixings, in very good condition. Worn 1874 - 1913 by the regular battalions, and by Territorial, Service and Reserve Battalions until circa 1924. In the case of Territorial battalions, often with a joined letter T and number above, such as T4, T5, T6 or T7.

A bi-metal title, die cast badge of two part construction, dark toned with age and two original hexagonal fixings to the reverse. Worn post WW1 and prior to the Royal prefix granted in 1938.

HLI Highland Light Infantry Victorian / Edwardian Bronzed Brass Shoulder Title

Westlake notes that the HLI without bugle was worn on the Khaki Drill tunics from 1884. This is a cast title with two original tombstone style lugs to the reverse. This looks to have a bronzed finish to it or is a very dark toned brass.
