Malaysian National Service Home Guard badge Die-stamped chrome with painted flag Original pin back. C clasp a bit squashed but still functional otherwise in very good condition. Scarce.

These were worn by the local HG villagers armed with shotguns etc., and the badge was worn on their everyday clothes.

A two part bi-metal cast metal cap badge of UK manufacture, with two original loops to the reverse (some bending and damage to loops but fully functional). A tiger superimposed on crossed Kris and Scabbard with the 11 pointed federation star above. Circa 4.8cm tall. Some bending to top part of star otherwise in good condition. Malay Regiment Fire Gilt Officers Cap Badge, adopted 1933

A stunning example, die cast on two original loops. Circa 40mm tall by 27mm wide. Slight twisting to loops and a few small marks to the gilt finish otherwise in excellent condition. Scarce.

This was a two battalion force which fought well in the doomed defence of Singapore. After Japan's defeat it was revived and by the time of Independence in 1957 was seven battalions strong.read more
