Good scarce die-stamped brass crowned title circlet with floral sprays with blank scroll at base; railway engine to voided centre. Oringal slider to reverse, poorly stamped 'Dowler, Birmingham' (perhaps after a trip to the pub at lunchtime!).
According to Renfrew, worn circa 1943 - 1949. Now Sri Lanka.

Maker named Alex Ross & Co Hong Kong. A Nickel Plated White Metal Patent Police Whistle. Below makers details there are a series of Chinese characters impressed below. Still makes a nice toot. Appears to have some age to it. Slight service wear and light damage to attached black cloth lanyard. A scarce item.

First pattern brass badge, with two original loops to the reverse. In very good condition. Formed in 1947 on the UK model of the ATC. Scarce badge. A second pattern, without the 'M' on the tablet being clutched by the eagle was made in the 1960s in silver anodised aluminium. Disbanded 1965.
