WW2 The Palestine Regiment Cast Brass Other Ranks Jewish Cap Badge
A scarce theatre made die cast brass example worn circa 1943-48. An olive tree to the centre of a circlet bearing the title, "Palestine " in English ,Arabic and Hebrew. Original copper slider to the reverse. In very good condition.
Raised in September 1942 and disbanded in August 1948. Issues of this badge first started to appear in November 1943.

Royal Fiji Police Locally Made Brass Shoulder Title, 1970 - 1987
A nicely detailed cast one piece shoulder title with two small but original lugs to the reverse. In good condition and worn only between 1970 and 1987.
Fiji achieved Independence on the 10th October 1970. For the Police it would mean a change of name to the ' Royal Fiji Police Force '.

West Indies - Barbados Regiment White Metal Cap Badge
An extremely attractive and scarce cap badge (post 1948 issue), well made in white metal to the Defence Force of the Caribbean Commonwealth island of Barbados. Two original lugs (east -west). Slight polishing to finer high points, but about 9 out of 10 condition-wise. 5.1cm across and 5cm high.

Not a matched pair. Two original lugs to the reverse of each. In good condition, with some squeezing to the loops on one of them and slight colour difference between the two of them to front. Pre 1902. Scarce.
Chruchill notes that the bandsmen of the 62nd Foot wore this badge 1873 - 1881 in honour of their service in the Mediterranean (No 1498 refers). read more
