Reinforced to reverse and signs of press studs on each corner having been removed. Woven example in very good condition. Worn circa 1959 - 1977. The design said to represent the 'Al Khalij' Arabic for "The Gulf".

Removed from uniform, a good embroidered black and white panda face felt formation sign.
The 9th Armoured was created on 1 December 1940 and dispersed and disbanded on 31 July 1944. It never saw active service during the war as a complete division, although its 27th armoured brigade fought in the Normandy campaign and NW Europe in 1944.

The 50th (Northumbrian) Division was a first-line Territorial Army Division. It fought with distinction in Europe and North Africa, and were present at the Normandy landings.

This is in unissued condition and comprises a yellow sphinx on an "Egypt" tablet with black highlights and lettering within a red border all on a blue felt shield. An earlier printed example. It is very hard to find a printed example. Worn by different battalions of the Gloucestershire Cadets from 1942 in facing pairs. This one facing left for the left arm.
