Korean War vintage United Nations ( UN ) Peacekeeper 's Beret with Enamel UN Badge
The vendor told me this was the property of a Royal Northumberland Fusilier who served in Korea, which would date it to the early 1950s. Unfortunately he could not recall the chap's name. No makers marks or personal details on the beret. Badge has some slight enamel loss to top outer ring, gilt still bright. No moth, stains or damage to outside. Scarce WW2 Royal Navy Sailor / Ratings Uniform - H.M. Submarines Cap Tally and Photo - all attributed to K. Pegler
All of these naval items came together including the photo. The cap tally was badly knotted and marked with blanco, which I have gently cleaned and lightly pressed. It is very much a working rig, with some yellowing, occasional stains and sun fade. 1855 pattern black wool forge cap with flat peak and rifle green braid and top knot. Label to inside gives military outfitters details as G Phillips, Army & Navy Outfitters, Stonehouse. Leather lining still present and silk purple lining present but perished in places.

Scarce Durham Light Infantry ( DLI ) Territorial Battalion Officer 's Side Cap and Silver Plated South Africa Scroll Cap Badge
Crown to reverse of badge stamped "P" for silver plated and with maker's name JR Gaunt London. Badge has two lugs (e-w) and is secured behind the sewn-in lining, which makes cleaning the badge difficult, but also stops it going walkies! it is lightly tarnished and needs a good clean.
