Nicely engraved with Georgian monogram and crown, as worn 1796 - 1832 when their use was finally abolished. Nicely rolled edges turned over wires to give this distinctive shape. Leather lining and silk ribbon for suspension missing and gilt finish now back to base metal. Some staining and light scratching. Blackened inside. No damage, dents or repairs. A good honest example.
