Somerset White Metal Shoulder Title

Somerset White Metal Shoulder Title

White metal title, at first I thought it was a light brass and lightly cleaned to front. The back reflects how the front used to look. I can only assume it was a layer of nicotine. Believed to be Red Cross and worn in this pattern until the 1950s. Thanks to Bruce for the information.

Ireland Irish Dublin Brass Shoulder Title - Red Cross?

This pattern of title was worn by the Royal Garrison Artillery from 1904 - 1908, but this looks smaller than other examples encountered for Cork and Antrim, so possibly part of a Red Cross Title for the City of Dublin detachments. Any information weclome. Two original loops to the reverse. Circa 4.5cms wide and 1.1cms tall. Scarce.
