A silver locally hallmarked 3D badge of two part construction with two original silver loops to the reverse. Two native (Arabic) hallmarks to the reverse of the base of the Kudu's head and one to the reverse of the base of the circlet. Circa 4.3cms tall and 2.4cms wide. A die struck example with sharp detail and original slider. The slider has been stamped Dowler, Birmingham, but has been overstamped with an issue number (144) which has damaged the tip of the slider. A hole has also been punched through the tip of the slider by the owner, presumably for securing the badge to the hat, otherwise in good condition.
