WW1 Borough of Salford Special Constable Constabulary Police Mufti Enamel and Gilt Lapel / Cap Badge
Enamel good except for one slight line knocked out just before the letter "E" in Constable. Unusually, fitted with a small brass slider that has been truncated. Stamped '501' below the slider. No sign of ever having been fitted with lugs or a pin brooch.
