A good original First World War large bronzed cap badge. A crowned title circlet with Royal Arms to centre, the reverse with maker's details "W.O.Lewis Howards St Birmingham". Very good condition, slight touch of verdigris to front, small die flaw to rear, original two loop fittings. Normally found as a lapel.

A finely detailed die-stamped white metal VCF cap badge with original pin fitting, the very tip of the pin blunted, otherwise fully functional. Circa 5.7cms tall. This pattern was apparently for wear on the bowler hat of volunteers.
