WW2 Royal Canadian Air Force ( RCAF) Aircraft Perspex Sweetheart on white metal chain
An attractive 3.8cm wide and 4cm tall, small chrome and enamel king's crown cap badge mounted on a Perspex heart. Each side of chain is circa 25.5cm in length. These items were made from the Perspex of crashed and damaged aircraft. In very good condition. read more

Royal West Kent Regiment Rolled Gold Sweetheart Brooch
In great condition with original pin. Only slight wear to plating on edges of bar otherwise a smart looking sweetheart badge. Makers Mark is WBS and "Rolled Gold" (effectively a form of plating) is stamped on reverse of bar. read more
Royal Fusiliers 1st Version Other Ranks Shoulder Title converted to Sweetheart Brooch
A clever adaption of the early two piece shoulder title with the small RF letters below now attached to the grenade which would have been worn above separately, lugs now removed and the whole attached to a functional c clasp pin fitting. Some staining to the gilding metal finish as a result of the conversion but nicely done.

Korean War 1950 - 1953 Veterans Crome and Enamel Lapel Pin Badge
Small but well made (2.3cm tall) with original pin and clasp. Reverse is marked S. Morris B'ham. In excellent condition with no damage to the enamel. 1970s - 1980s vintage. read more
Boer War Vintage 18th (Queen Marys Own) Hussars Hallmarked Silver Sweetheart Brooch Pin Badge - 1900
Hand cut with engraved detail and original fully functional stout pin fitting. Crown to top. Maker marked 'W.H.H.' and Birmingham assay letter 'a' lower case (1900). In superb condition with no damage or polishing. Scarce.

WW2 4th County of London (Sharpshooters) Hallmarked Silver & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch Badge
A stunning sweetheart with hallmarks for Birmingham assay office date letter Q (1940). No damage to enamel, original pin fittings. Maker marked also W & H (Walker & Hall, Sheffield). Walker & Hall were cutlers and made regimental spoons in the 1930s and moved into military badge making in 1940. Circa 3.3cms tall.

A beautifully heavily gilded example with original horseshoe fitting. Signs of wear to front but a nicely made quality item. King's crown. The maker's details 'BN' to the reverse.
The museum website confirms this pattern was worn pre 1937.

WW1 6th Battalion Kings Liverpool Regiment silver sweetheart brooch
An attractive and scarce First World War 6th Territorial Battalion the King's (Liverpool) Regiment sweetheart brooch ,the reverse bearing good London silver hallmarks for 1917 (date letter B) and maker's details "C & A" (the latter a bit feint). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings and excellent patina. Circa 27mm in diameter.
