Removed from cap but in good worn condition. Circa 6.8cms tall and 6.3cms wide. Heavily padded example especially the crown some wear to velvet and slight nip to top of black backing.

WW2 Royal Air Force (RAF) Pilots Qualification Deeply Padded Wing, Kings Crown
Removed from uniform, a fully padded embroidered and shaped wing. Some loss of black felt on the left hand tip which gives it a slightly unbalanced look, but thread of wing itself still present. The "RAF" monogram within a brown wreath of laurel surmounted by the crown and flanked by a pair of oatmeal coloured down-swept wings.
