WW2 Home Front Hand-crafted Fund raising aircraft pin badge
Hand made, not pressed out or cast, this is made out of folded steel and has a safety pin securely soldered to the underside. It could be intended to represent either a hurricane or a spitfire. It has a lovely polished feel to it. Possibly unique, Circa 3cm long and 3.5cm wide.

WW2 Home Front Cast Gilt Spitfire Fund raising lapel buttonhole badge
Generic pattern gilt brass Spitfire fighter aircraft lapel badge which was sold in exchange for a donation to the build a Spitfire fund. With original buttonhole fixing. This example has the word "Spitfire" and two RAF Roundels on the wings. In very good condition, but with some tarnishing to the gilt finish. Circa 2.5cm long and 3.5cm wide. Super item!

Royal Air Force RAF Medical Branch Officer's 1918 Pattern Bronze collar badge
A good scarce die cast bronze example on original loops (some slight twisting to these). Crowned laurel wreath on “Nec Aspera Terrent” scroll; rod and serpent of Aesculapius (the Greek God of Medicine) to voided centre.
AMWO 1217/18 of 10th October introduced this pattern which was shortly superseded by the usual winged pattern still in use today.

Early pattern die struck white metal cap badge with three folded flat original blades to the reverse and brass strengthening bar to the reverse of raised arm. the figure of an Elizabethan Coast Watcher above the curled title scroll, " Observer Corps." The Corps was made " Royal " in 1941. In very good condition.

WW1 Royal Flying Corps RFC Stylized Brass Shoulder Title - Cut from Sheet Brass
An unusual pattern, possibly theatre made, not encountered before, and assumed to be related to Dominion air force units in South Africa or India, but happy to be corrected. Two original small thin loops soldered to reverse of thin cut brass sheet joined via a central strip "RFC". Reminiscent of the slouch hat badges cut from sheet brass in the Boer War.
