A scarce No 250 Sudan Fighter Squadron Desert Air Force gilt and enamel lapel badge, taller than usual at circa 4.1cm tall. It depicts an African Fish Eagle with motto "Close To The Sun". The pin fitting to the reverse in excellent condition and fully functional, enamel intact and attractive.

An unmarked heavy die cast silver pair of collar badges to the Royal Flying Corps with two small original silver lugs to the reverse of each. Some wear to detail evident to fronts but nothing to detract from a scarce and seldom encountered ' private purchase ' matched pair of officer 's collars. Circa 3.1cm tall. Worn 1913 - 1918. Rare.

A good original circa 1940's 27 Squadron gilt and enamel badge, with motto " Quam Celerrime Ad Astra", the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18". Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. 33mm tall.

Note the chevrons travel in different directions so facing as well as matched. Each of three chevrons rank insignia embroidered on a canvas material with issue stamps for 1943 to the reverse, one more legible than the other. In very good condition.
