Irish Militia - Wexford Regiment of Militia Officer's Silver Plated Small Pattern Button

Circa 15.5mm in diameter, without rim, fixed shank, maker marked Foley, Dublin. Silver plate quite worn to left side and to highpoints, but in reasonable worn condition. Victorian VR suggests this was worn from 1837 - 1855. Possibly a cap or epaulette / shoulder strap button. Rare.
