WW1 Patriotic British & Foreign Sailors Society 1915 Copper Cross Medallion Medal

A scarce original piece of English artefact in the form of a Maltese Cross made from the copper of Nelson's Ship inscribed to the obverse 'I NELSON COPPER D.G (Dei Gratia) Latin for 'By the Grace of God'.The four arms of the cross bearing 'TRAFALGAR 1805' 'WATERLOO 1815' 'BRITISH & FOREIGN SAILORS SOCIETY'.
The reverse 'DUTY 1915 HONOUR' 'BRITAIN FRANCE' 'BELGIUM RUSSIA'. Some light staining otherwise in very good condition, suspension ring present. Small at circa 20 x 20mm, excluding suspension ring.
