Small Pattern Gilt Button as worn by a member of the personal staff of Edward, Prince of Wales, Made for the Royal Tour to India & Burma in 1921 - 22
A rare and attractive engraved medium sized gilt button, circa 14mm in diameter, flat backed button with fixed shank. Maker marked (faintly) Pitt &Co, Maddox St. London.
Worn during the visit by Edward, Prince of Wales, later Duke of Windsor to India & Burma November 17, 1921 - March 7, 1922. He sailed on HMS Renown.
