Republic of India - 50th Independence Anniversary Medal 1947 - 1997

Unnamed as issued, correct ribbon (shortened and a little grubby from glue mark to top edge). GVF.

The 50th Independence Anniversary Medal was issued to commemorate the historic occasion of 50 years of the independence of India and was authorised for all Armed Forces personnel borne on strength as on 15th August 1997.
