Royal Northumberland Fusiliers (RNF) Officer's Pair of Woven White On Red Shoulder Titles - Guards pattern

Worn a la Guards Division style with rounded ends. Of similar manufacture, display well together, but one a bit grubbier on the reverse than the other. This pattern worn circa 1945 - 1947 but most usually encountered with square ends.

No 1 Independent Machine Company of the 4th Battalion RNF was in May 1945 part of the 32nd Brigade Group (Guards Armoured Division) (Source Barclay "History of the RNF 1919 - 1945" (p201). It may explain the titles with shaped rounded ends. Scarce.
