An original wartime period volunteer 'Fire Watcher' gilt lapel badge; flaming grenade inlaid with unusual dark red enamel and bearing variant letters 'FW' within outer horseshoe title in dark blue. Complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, but gilt worn on the lettering. A small badge at only circa 22mm tall. Sold as seen.
