QVC 1st (Hallamshire) Volunteer Battalion York & Lancaster Regiment Other Ranks Bi-Metal Helmet Plate

A really pleasing die struck example of three part construction with no damage, sharp detail, three original dark toned loops to the reverse and a braising / sweat hole behind the Union Rose. The usual minor misshaping of some of the star tip points from service wear, but does not detract. As worn from 1883 - 1901.
