Canadian Militia - 29th Waterloo Regiment Collar Badge - Gaunt Maker's tablet

A King's crown, gilding metal cap / collar badge for the Canadian 29th Waterloo Regiment. Very unusual maker's plaque to reverse showing the maker to be J. R. Gaunt & Sons Ltd., 13 Conduit St, London. In good condition complete with 2 original lugs. These are short and bent over / squashed, perhaps suggesting a collar badge but happy to be corrected. Worn circa 1902 to 1920. Circa 45mm tall. Comm BoHa (543)
