Indian Army - 14th Punjab Regiment Cast White Metal Cap Badge
A very fine cast example in very good condition with two original loops (slightly squashed). King's Crown. The five points of the star represent the five major rivers of the Punjab. As worn from 1922 until 1956. Allocated to Pakistan in 1947.
The 14th Punjab Regiment was formed in 1922 during a reorganization of the Indian Army.
World War II The regiment saw extensive service in the war, contributing to campaigns in North Africa, Italy, and Burma.
