WW1 Canada - 143rd Infantry Battalion (British Columbia Bantams) CEF Canadian Expeditionary Force Overseas Infantry Battalion Cap Badge - Cast?

A cast bronze example, flat backed but rough to reverse and with two original loops. Same size as the badge displayed in Cox. Circa 4cms tall. Finely detailed to front. Put up for opinions only at this stage please. Any comments welcome.
