WW2 Home Front - Franco-British Liasion Committee lapel badge - Free French Supporters

A scarce first pattern original Second World War period English made 'Free French lapel badge' gilt brass circular badge inlaid with red, white and blue enamel 'Union Jack' inset with panel bearing partial Cross of Lorraine' and inscribed 'Resurgam 1940', additional bars top and bottom 'Les Francais de Grande-Bretagne' the reverse impressed with official issue number '162'. Good condition, complete with original horseshoe buttonhole lapel fitting, some slight and minor damage to the enamel, otherwise an excellent example. Circa 24mm tall.
