WW1 Home Front - Glasgow and South Western Railway War Service badge

A scarce original First World War period '1914-1918 enamel and brass metal circular badge, 'Glasgow and South Western Railway' blue enamel title surround, Crowned 'Railway Service' to the centre on white enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J A Wylie & Co, London' and official issue number 'W 3197'. Some verdigris to the reverse otherwise in very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting and no damage to the enamel. Circa 28mm in diameter.
