7th Gurkha Rifles Servants / Followers Silver Plated Badge - Pin Fitting, pre 1959.
Official issues for wear by officers and other ranks had the 7 separate from the crossed kukris. This particular example was believed to be a pattern worn by followers or servants of the regiment. Whilst a number of different examples appear in the museum publication, this particular pattern does not appear to be illustrated. This is a particularly well made example cast either in unmarked Indian silver or silver plate, with original pin fitting. Circa 26mm tall and 32mm wide. In very good condition.
