10th Princess Mary's Own Gurkha Rifles Officer's Pouch Belt, Pouch and Silver Plated Fittings, QEII issue, First Pattern, 1952 - 1957

A black faux leather black plastic belt with silver plated fittings complete with pouch. Some marks to exterior of pouch and some rubbing damage to leather on inside of pouch lid but not visible from the outside. A silver plated cross belt badge with four of four screw posts with three out of four original retaining nuts to the reverse remaining and mounted on a silvered back plate. As worn from 1952 - 1957, when replaced by the pattern listed as my item 67104 (now sold). Pouch Belt Plate is circa 107mm tall and 76mm wide, whilst the pouch badge is circa 38mm tall and 27mm wide and this pattern was worn from 1950 - 1994.

"insignia of the 10th Princess Mary's Own Gurkha Rifles" published by the Gurkha Museum fig 10GR A6 refers in respect of the pouch belt plate, 10GR A8a for the whistle boss and chain and 10GR A9A in respect of the whistle keep and 10GR B3 in respect of the pouch badge (which is on two screw posts with original retaining nuts). Rare.
