A good scarce fire gilt die struck example with two original strong blades to the reverse. Within a crowned waratah wreath, the Southern Cross with central star replaced by a lion. Fantastic condition. Worn circa 1901 - 1903.

Indian Army - United Provinces Horse (UPH) Officers Bullion Thread Cap Badge

Canada - Perth Regiment Other Ranks Bronzed Cap Badge - 1st Pattern

Bronzed King's Crown other ranks die struck badge, authorised in 1923 but worn from as early as 1920. This is the pattern from the first pattern die used in the early 1920s. The lettering is larger in the scroll than in later issues. Not as much detail in the veins of the maple leaf. No periods or dots prior to the “T” in The or after the “T” in regiment. No maker marks.
