WW2 British Forces Kings Badge for Loyal Service, Normal and Miniature Patterns

Introduced in 1941, circa 26mm and 18mm in diameter respectively struck in white metal, the smaller one has more of a chrome finish. The King's Badge was awarded to British Forces personnel who had been invalided out of the services during WW2 and were entitled to a war disablement pension. They were both unnamed and unnumbered. A small attractive King's Crown enamelled unmarked silver lapel badge for the Officer's Training Corps (OTC). Made by J.R. Gaunt, London. In good condition complete with a lapel button-hole fixing. No damage to enamel. Registered design number 627163 to reverse, which gives this design a registration date of between 1913 and 1914.

WW1 Home Front - Scarce Dundee Women's Suffrage Society War Relief Fund Gilt and Enamel Badge

An attractive gilt and enamel badge which shows the crest of the city of Dundee, 29mm in diameter. It is engraved with 37/2 and has the maker's details on the reverse Rattray, Dundee. It also has an extra loop mounted on it for a safety chain (the safety chain is no longer present). In good condition with only a small bit of surface damage to the surface of the enamel at about 1 o'clock.

Royal Horse Artillery RHA Regiment OFFICERS GILT Beret Badge – Queens Crown

Circa 35mm tall, two original long copper loops to reverse (e-w). Die cast and gilt in stunning condition. Touch of verdigris to reverse, does not detract. No maker marks.

This badge was also worn at the base of the No 1 Dress Shoulder chains by the Essex Yeomanry, a distinction awarded in 1955 when the Regiment was granted the honorary title of Royal Horse Artillery.
