Royal Gloucestershire Hussars (Yeomanry) (RGH) Band Sergeant's No 1 Full Dress Tunic - Superb

An NCO's / Sergeant's No1 Full Dress Dark Blue Tunic, complete with all its fittings including the correct anodised collar and all buttons, metal shoulder scales, gold thread chevron with embroidered bullion wire NCO arm badge above. Maker's label shows it was made by I. Edgard & Sons Ltd and a pen annotation has covered the measurements. Attributed to a soldier named "Miles, RGH Band". Some minor signs of service wear, but no moth or obvious damage. Internally the liner is clean and in good condition overall with only a minor pull or two to the internal seams. Some staining to inner neck cloth and this is wear the most wear is obvious but does not detract from it when closed. A scarce jacket in very good condition for age. Just needs a belt to set it off. Would display very well. The person who posed to wear it has a 38inch chest and it fitted him well. However, it is being sold as a collectable and no guarantees are given as to its suitability to be worn. Worn until1967.
