WW1 Canada - 230th CEF Canadian Expeditionary Force Infantry Battalion Copper Cap Badge - Birks 1916
A good scarce die-stamped example on loops. This pattern worn until 1917 only when they converted to a forestry battalion and changed their badge accordingly. Maker marked 'Birks' and 1916 date to reverse. In good overall condition.
Mainly recruited in French speaking parts of Canada and the battalion was known as the Voltigeurs Canadiens Français.
