3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards) Officer's Cap and Collar Badge Set

A lovely set, came together so would like to keep together, silver plated and gilt cap and collar badges to an officer. Each piece is die cast and of two part riveted construction with original loops to each. The loops on one collar have been squeezed together otherwise in good condition. Silver dark toned on cap, which is also maker marked Firmin London. Each collar is stamped with the letter "P" to to the reverse for "silver plated". The collars are matching.
A lovely set.

The 3rd and 6th Dragoon Guards were amalgamated in 1922 to form the 3rd Carabineers ( Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards), and again in 1971 with the Royal Scots Greys to form the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabineers & Greys).
