Salisbury Plain District & Wilts and Dorset District, Southern Command District Cold War Sporting Medallion - 1956

A very attractive unmarked silver and enamel medallion for army sports in the Salisbury Plain District. The obverse with a red and yellow enamel representation the of the formation sign used for this district, small and original suspension ring, silver slightly dark toned. Reverse neatly engraved "Small Units Hockey, Runners Up 1956". Please ignore the reflection in the final photo.
