WW2 Home Front - Fire Watcher Civilian Volunteer Gentleman's War Worker Lapel Badge (Type 1)

A good original wartime period volunteer 'Fire Watcher' gilt lapel badge; flaming grenade inlaid with unusual dark red enamel and bearing variant letters 'FW' within outer horseshoe title in dark blue. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example. A small badge at only circa 22mm tall.
