WW1 South African Cape Corps Sheet Brass Cap Badge
The die stamped sheet brass cap badge depicts a female figure with an anchor, Two original copper wire lugs are present on the reverse. The badge measures circa 43 tall x 33 mm wide. Lack of detail due to the nature of the stamping. but scarce to find with its loops intact.
As worn in WW1. A regiment of two battalions which saw service outside of South Africa. The Cape Corps served in German East Africa in WW1 and with 53rd Welsh Division in Palestine in 1918.
