WW1 Bristol Special Constable Constabulary Police Mufti Enamel Buttonhole Lapel Badge - 1915

A scarce voided lapel badge with original horseshoe fitting with no damage to enamel but with some dulling to the gilt finish. Maker marked JR Gaunt London and number 1915 to reverse (most likely the year rather than an issue number). Circa 35mm in diameter. In very good condition. This pattern also worn as a cap badge.
