Honourable Artillery Company HAC 1954 Queen's Prize Embroidered Arm Badge - Unique One off award to one soldier of the HAC in 1954

A one off unique award, each badge has the year of award, so this is the only one awarded for 1954. Ironically the outline illustration in the book quoted below is also the one shown for 1954. Copy of the page to be provided to the buyer. Removed from uniform and in good condition with no moth or repairs. It has some age to it. The Albert Room in Armoury House, Finsbury Park HQ shows the names of each recipient for each year since its the awards inception in 1852, so it will be possible to attribute this to a particular soldier (only issued to Other Ranks who that year were deemed by the CO to have made an outstanding contribution to the Regiment). The Cypher of course changes with each monarch. I guess once again it is now the King's Prize. Please note the book is not included in this sale but shown for information only. However, as already stated a copy of the page will be provided to the buyer. Worthy of further research.
