Normandy June 1944 - Czech Independent Armoured Brigade Group Printed Cloth Formation Sign
Removed from uniform, a printed example of this scarceformation sign which comprises the white lion rampant of Bohemia with the cross of Lorraine in the centre on a red shield, super-imposed on a red cross on a pale blue background and with a white border. In good overall condition, but with some light staining / dis-colouration to the white.
This Czechoslovakian brigade was formed and trained in England, and took part in the operations in North-West Europe as part of 21st Army Group, landing in Normandy in late June 1944.
