QVC Victorian Hants Carabiniers (Hampshire Yeomanry) Officers Silver Plated Cap Badge

Die cast, voided central oval which contains the Hampshire rose, two original sliver plated loops (n-s) to the reverse. Oval bearing the title backed by a pair of crossed rifles with the 'Carabiniers' scroll across the rifle butts. Silver plate dark toned but in very good condition and no damage. A quality badge worn for only a few years before the end of Queen Victoria's reign. Circa 4.2cm tall. Rare.
