15th London Rifle Volunteer Corps RVC (London Scottish) Other Ranks White Metal Collar Badges

A die struck white metal pair of non-facing collar badges with two original hexagonal fixings to the reverse of each. In very good condition with sharp detail. Circa 28mm wide. Good match to front, one slightly brighter than the other from the rear view. Scarce.

The MHS Bulletin referred to below states that the unit wore a white metal thistle as a collar badge and that this was similar to but smaller than that worn on the glengarry and the sporran, being 1 inch wide. Whilst a few mm wider than that statement, they do same to fit the bill.
