5th Northumberland Fusiliers Officer's Mess Dress Button - Pitt & Co

Circa 15mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked Pitt & Co, London. Mounted button with Silver plated St George slaying the dragon facing right above a small V all encircled in a gilt motto scrap "quo fata vocant" (where the fates call). In superb condition. An early issue.
