1st South Durham (Durham Fusiliers) Militia Officer's Silver Plated Large Pattern Button

Circa 25.5mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked Firmin & Sons 153 Strand & 13 Conduit Street London. Some wear to silver plate and copper showing and grubby to the reverse. Still, a scarce button and worn 1869 - 1881.
