Royal Air Force W&B Works and Building Services Brass Cap Badge and Matching Facing Collar Badges (c.1921 - 1929)

A super set comprising the cap and facing collar badges, all semi die-cast with original slider to cap and two original loops to the reverse of each collar badge with two original loops. Some signs of service wear, but a rare matched set. Collars are facing and matching and circa Circa 4.8cms wide and 3.4cms tall. The cap badge is 6.2cms wide and 4.3cms tall. All in very good condition. Some verdigris to reverse.

AMO/825 of 20th October 1921 designated badges to be worn on blue and drab uniforms by enlisted personnel of the RAF Works and Building Services, in gilding metal. The badge design was a mason's square with a W and B in the angle, with an eagle and crown above.
